I have an aggressive chewer, thought she does destroy this extremely cute chicken, it takes a while. This is the only toy she will play with. I buy one every 6 weeks and will do that as long as they stay available. The material is soft but well made. It keeps my bully busy for hours.
My 12 week old puppies love these! At first I knew they would be chewed up in a short time but they have played for over 4 weeks now, LOVE to pump the squeaker and hear the crinkle in the body. I have even washed one by accident and it looks like new! We used these as indoor toys only.
these are great, my dog loves them!!! after a little while the squeaker falls through but it doesn't matter because you get so many! squeaker is loud too!
I bought this for my 85-pound Goldendoodle and he loves it! Tank carries his bunny around with him everywhere. He has a ton of toys, but this has become one of his favorites. It’s so cute seeing such a big dog carrying his little bunny around!
I didn’t read the description so I didn’t realize this chicken had no stuffing. I assumed it was stuffed and lined with the crinkle. I handed it off to the dog, expecting him to have the same reaction I had but he absolutely loves it. He has other stuff that crinkles but this chicken is extra crinkley and he’s here for it. It’s also great to play catch with bc it’s not going to hurt at all if they miss and get hit in the face with it instead. The two squeakers are still going strong a few months later. I’m glad I bought it!
It has been the only toy my dog hasn’t chewed and damaged in less than 10 minutes. I’m not saying it’s strong. It’s just he loves to toss it up and run around with it instead of laying down to chew it until it rips open. It’s adorable too. So our family is glad it’s still alive and well lol
My dog now knows this chewy toy as ducky. If I ask her, where is ducky?, She’ll run and find it and start playing with it. She’s never had chewy toys until now.She is a medium size dog and I’m surprised she likes the toy because it’s ginormous. But she absolutely loves it and is happy to chew on it when she is bored. And it’s well-made as well.
Cute toy but you get much better quality shopping in person at discount stores. I would recommend it to those who don’t have a car or live in rural areas with less options.Features Only 1 squeeker but the crinkly ears are a good feature.If you do a price comparison it’s slightly more $ for less value. On the positive side maybe you are supporting a small biz vs. a large corporation.
What I thought was going to be demolished in a few play times has turned out to be super sturdy and my pups favorite toy! I brought my mini golden doodle home at eight weeks and now at 14 weeks this toy is still going strong. No rips, tears or teeth punctures. No shedding of the fluffy material either. This toy gets used for playing tug a lot so that is a testament to its quality. I have even machine washed and air only dried it in the the dryer! Looked brand new when it came out. Squeaker still works too!! Great product!! This is a big win!
My 15 lb rescue dog (mostly chihuahua/miniature poodle/maniac was awful: biting, growling, destructive and more. Didn't care for toys either. Then I read that dogs mainly see blue and yellow & other colors look muddy. So I got a bunch of blue & yellow toys and Goldie loves them all, especially Clucky. She walks with them in her mouth, carries them up & down stairs, brings them to us in the morning so we can chase her. She does sometimes try to chew them and eventually chews up a foot or other body part (toy, not Goldie) but now I sew it or just get another critter from her basket of blue & yellow. I don't know what would happen if we didn't have these anymore, esp, Clucky. Please don't stop making them and thank you very much from Goldie!!
Boxer loves this. Finally destroyed after a couple of months, but pretty good for him!
soft and no worrying about destuffing. My pup loves this so much. To the point we have every color and he currently has around 10 of them. He walks around with them in his mouth, brings them to bed with him every night and never leaves without one. I also like that they stitch the plastic into the fabric so if they tear it open it takes longer to remove the plastic and squeaker.
I have two strong chewers, and so far these have held up. My German Shepherd and my Doodle really love these bunnies. They are so very cute! The ears make the crackling sound and there is a small squeaker in the body. The bunnies are well made and soft, making them perfect for snuggle time. We will keep an eye on things, of course, but as I said, so far these bunnies have hung in there. As a plus, there is no unpleasant odor. I definitely recommend these dog toys.
I’m super pleased with this crunchy chicken dog toy. My puppy loves it and it’s his favorite. My favorite part about it is that it doesn’t contain any stuffing for puppy to pull out. So far he hasn’t ripped off any chicken parts, either. He loves the crunching noise it makes and also the squeaker inside. He knows it’s “his chicken”. He tosses it around and teeths on it. He also runs after it when I throw it. I would definitely purchase more. Keeps him entertained long enough.
Love these toys for my pups and plan to buy another. However be forewarned: your dogs will love these toys because they can tear the stuffing out of them and make a big mess.
My dogs favorite balls. We have a shorty JRT who is ball obsessed! These and one other brand are her favorite. I have bought many of these, not because she destroys them (they last forever) but she takes them outside and will end up leaving it out and who knows where they go? She has put them in the dishwasher, bathtub, in shoes, in the hamper and yes, some have gone through the wash and came out fine. She picks a "ball of the day color" every day. Carries it around all day, plays fetch all day, rolls it off the couch or her bed, rolls it all over the floor and plays endlessly with these balls. She just turned 10 yrs old and thankfully still acts like a puppy when playing. JRTs need stimulation and these balls keep her busy and stimulated all day. I can't recommend them enough. I did not receive anything for this review, this is an honest review for the balls that I paid full price multiple times for.
This flat dog toy held up to several games of tug of war between my dogs, but eventually had to be repaired. It’s very cute, and my dogs loved it. At least it wasn’t filled with stuffing when they finally tore it open. I would recommend this toy for more gentle play, as it will not hold up to aggressive play or active chewers.
I received a Golden Retriever puppy for Mothers Day. I had several toys left by my previous Golden, but wanted a new friend for my puppy while she’s in her kennel at night. This little duck toy is perfect, as it makes a crinkle sound, is soft and cuddly. My little girl LOVES it as if it’s her own baby. I think it has a squeaky in it, but she’s never deployed it, as she is gentle with it. The price was perfect, expecting it to get chewed up, but I truly think this will be around a very long time (if I can keep it away from my son’s family adult Retriever’s lol).
I received this on May 23rd and on June 8th, after playing with this thing every day, our recently acquired 36 lb dog finally ripped it open and got out all the plastic and the squeaky part. Lily Belle will miss you, chicken.Lily loooooved this toy! She'd toss it in the air, chew on it, pull it with her teeth etc. but as much as she loved it, we won't replace it. It's just not durable enough for her.If your dog is an aggressive chewer, you might want to try a different toy. I hate that this lasted just a smidge over two weeks because Lily seemed to truly enjoy this toy.RIP, squeaky chicken!
We have purchased these slightly spiky dog balls several times for our very strong jaw heavy chewer dogs and they’ve been amazing. They don’t break down they don’t get torn apart the squeakers don’t even pop out of them.So we ordered another package because we’ve lost a few outside to the lawnmower… oops and the package that got delivered today had only one ball that squeaks and the other does not. THIS IS A PROBLEM ! Unfortunately my female dog got to the new squeaking ball first and my male got to the non-squeaking ball and he was NOT happy. Basically once they claim a ball it’s theirs and the other dogs don’t go near the ball they claimed. So he’s following my female around and every time she squeaks the ball and I’m just waiting for him to attempt to take it from her causing damage to her. Normally… These are amazingly fun, tough, durable but also squeaking balls (that’s rare in a tough ball) that my dogs absolutely love.This time just got a bad batch I guess. When they squeak the dogs LOVE them. After several months of play the squeaker might break inside of the ball but the ball never comes apart or gets damaged. And we as the owners love that they don’t break down are not able to be ripped or torn even by our very strong jawed and big jaw muscle dogs.They are also great for in the house play because they’re small enough that they fit completely inside our dog‘s mouth but obviously not small enough to get swallowed so when we throw them in the house for fetch the dogs can jump up and catch them fully in their mouth so they don’t cause any damage to the walls when they hit the walls. They’re not super heavy but they’re incredibly durable.Definitely worth the price especially if you have heavy chewers or big jaw muscle dogs.
