I enjoy the style of this type of water bottle. I worry I'll lose the staff but it fits in tight and the copper cord around the water bottle has a loop on it and a knot you can pull through it so it stays tight you don't have to tie it. I rinsed it out with a little Dawn and some hot water, swished it around and followed it up with cold water and it got rid of the brand new plastic taste. After that the water tasted absolutely delicious. Also it seals well.
This is a fantastic and functional alternative to a traditional gourd bottle. I use it when I go to the dojo for training. Not very insulating though, but it doesn't advertise to be.
