I've bought a few light-up collars from two different venders/brands. But with a new puppy, who's sometimes very impatient to get outside when he has to "go", I needed something MORE.I wasn't sure what "more" I needed, at the time. But I sure figured it out when I got this one!I've now ordered this particular brand four times, in several different colors.WHY four times?<> Because I have three dogs; a 12-yr-old Vizsla (Lilly), a 3.5-yr-old female GSD (Mila), & A 3-MONTH-old male GSD (Maks).Lilly's collar is purple, Mila's pink, & Maks's green (& black)... BC, he's growing; so I wasn't sure on size/color.These collars are hands down superior to the precious model/brand I've gotten.PROS:1] DURABLE woven band.> That's also flexible enough for playtime (bitey-face) give, and sooo much easier to add a metal ID tag.> the aforementioned "bitey-face" game my 2 GSD's like to play?? The collar has kept its integrity; no fraying, no broken lights, no clasp failures.2] BRIGHT!> with two Sable GSD's, who I can't see in the dark, this this is a God-send!!> See black-out PIC...<> THAT'S Maks, my 3-mo-old GSD. Off to the left of the pic is my front porch. I'm litterally 2 feet from him. You can't see HIM, But that collar is super bright.3] QUICK ACTIVATION;> prior collar I had to hold for 3 seconds to turn on. This one is a single quick press & its on!<> FIRST press: Quick flashing (like car blinkers)<> SECOND press: slow flash (like firefly bug)<> THIRD press: solid light, no flash.<> FOURTH press: Off.4] SIZING. LARGE ADJUSTABLE RANGE:> Got a Large for Mila & small for Maks.> But... see "sizing" in CONS for downside.5] BATTERY LIFE:> not only long-lasting (up to two weeks between charges), it's a quick charge.> Typical charge time (in my experience) has been 6-hrs for a fully dead battery.... 2-3 hrs for a dying battery.<> you'll know when it's dying, the bright light starts to dim; noticeably.CONS:1] QUICK LIGHT-UP:> although in the "pros" section, there is a con. During play time, my GSD'S have accidentally activated the lights.> and if left on, it will drain battery faster.<> but bc quick-flash is first, it's pretty noticeable.2] SIZING:> the circumference measurements are long & Mila actually needed a medium.<> yet, the large was adjustable enough to fit without slippage.> The small is very small.<> HOWEVER perfect for Maks at first, he's quickly outgrown it.For large breeds dogs @3-6 months...I RECOMEND: MEDIUM SIZE.As for COMFORT?> I mean, I'm not a dog, so IDK if it's comfortable... but Maks transitioned easily into wearing it. Meaning, he didn't get agitated & try to wiggle out it.> SO... I think it's pretty comfortable.<> it does have a tendency to cause their coat/hair around the nape to get a little matted... but that's become a thing w my GSD's. Lilly has no coat issues.OVERALL:This is a reasonable price for the quality of craftsmanship. Love the lights

This lighted dog collar works great on our black lab. We can see her very easy at night both on our walks and in the back yard. The collar is very well made and has 3 modes. She can even get it wet in her kiddie pool or when we hose her down on hot days.

Very bright LED lights that are nicely integrated into the collar.

Pros. The collar is well built and the light is integrated nicely into the collar. In daylight it does not look different than a non lighted collar. The LED light is super bright with reasonable usage time between charging.Cons.My dog occasionally activates the light by inadvertently bumping the switch. I more dog proof switch would be nice.UnknownsOnly had the collar for a couple of weeks so unable to comment on the reliability of the LED lights. Our black lab goes through a collar every 12 months so hoping the lights work that long.

Great for Early morning walks

Great addition to our early morning walks. Does seem to run a little big, I had to return and get one size smaller and even that one is a little big but will work in conjunction with her existing collar.

Worth the purchase for night walking

I love the dog collar. My sib dig . My best friend is black. I need a light because I work the graveyard shift. When I walk him its give extra light to the yard and whereabouts. 5+ rating if you walk your dog at night.

Nice for the Price

Easy to charge and looks really nice on my little demon dog from the deepest darkest pit of despair. The first thing she does is tries to chew it but it held up well and now she has almost given up trying to destroy it. The collar is really holding in there. She even jumped into deep puddle and got it drenched but when it dried out it worked fine. I will buy again.

Best there is! The GREEN are perfect!

These are the ones to get to keep people and Cars from running over your 4 Legged Friends at night. The Green are nice and bright. The Red ( accidentally sent at first ) are much harder to see at night. The CUSTOMER SERVICE is very responsive.

Work very well - Love them

Love these collars. They are very bright and visible at night. I have two small black dogs that completely disappear at night. These collars make it easy to see them in the yard. I love that they are rechargeable so I dont need batteries.

Much better than our old one ????

This is probably the 5th light-up collar we've tried over the past few years & I was pleasantly surprised to find it is the best one by far. It's actually somewhat shocking how dramatically better it is. In fact, it's so bright that now when we're out after dark, the purple glow from our 110lb rotty's neck (in other words: she's a big girl, her collar is probably ~3ft off the ground) actually shines brightly enough to illuminate the road all the way around her & creates a full silhouette that drastically improves visibility of a dog that otherwise fully disappears into the darkness. The prior light-up collars we've tried we're ok but not great. Even the brightest one we had previously would show up only as a series of little LEDs around her neckobviously better than nothing at all, but not ideal whatsoever in helping to make her presence known to passing cars at night. None of them were actually bright enough to light up the road beneath her. Without a doubt, we feel safer taking her out on night walks now that we have this one.As far as this collar's mechanics go: its battery life is also a bit better than the former ones we've tried, so that's a plus. And another small factor that we appreciate is that this one at least upgraded the charging port to a standard micro USBin a perfect world it would be a C cable, but it's still an improvement over our old one which actually required the old school USB cord that used to be pretty standard for point-and-shoot digital cameras & stuff like that, so we had to keep that type of cable around solely to charge up her collar. We also previously had one that used it's own type of weird magnetic charger that neither one of us had ever seen used with any other type of device before, so again we had to keep tabs on that special cord to make sure we could charge the collar back up. But eventually it stopped working & that's why we had to order a new one. So all of that said, simply updating the charging port to a more standard micro USB is just a little thing that actually makes a pretty big difference in helping to increase the longevity of the collar we have now because even if the cable it came with breaks, we won't have to trash the whole thing since we already have god only knows how many micro USB cords laying around. One last thing I wanted to point out in particular: we've actually been using this collar for over a year now & it still seems just as bright as it did when we first got it. We've never experienced that kind of long lasting performance with any of the similar collars we had in the past, so that gives me hope we'll be able to stick with this one we're happy with for a long time to come if it continues to let demonstrate that level of durability. The buckle still works well & the color of the collar itself hasn't even really faded, despite frequent use. That was a lot to write about a collar with little lights on it (lol) but when you think about it, keeping our pup safe us actually one of our most important responsibilities & this thing does greatly contribute to the effort we make to ensure her safety. And considering we've owned so many of these by now, I figured I'd offer a detailed but very honest review after finally finding one that surpassed our expectations.

Highly Visible BRIGHT light perfect for night time walks

Excellent for night time walks. Extremely bright with several flashing options or non flashing continual light. It is made from a nylon material like most regular dog collars, and a click clasp. I bought the neon green color and my dog was highly visible. In fact, the light is so bright its almost blinding! It comes with a charger. I am very happy with this product so far and am satisfied with the quality. I would recommend this to anyone who walks their fur babies at night.

Perfect for urban and rural uses.

If you have a pet, go out at night or care about extra visibility, then this is it!Its just as good (we think better actually) than the name branded ones which cost a whole lot more. We love that this has a toggle option between choosing a long blinking flash/super fast flashing or then just lit up on.We invested in both the collars and matching leashes but dont need to always use both at same time. When city walking we switch leash to the quick flashing for doing road crossings even in well lit areas for extra security for all. When camping and hiking in rural areas etc, its so helpful to simply leave turned on any preferred lit options to easily spot where the dogs are if they get further away. The lighted helps especially in wooded areas, or just to give extra bright light for us at night. Our large group camps are great for color coding collars/leashes and offers entrainment for the kids to have a light show in the dark provided by the dogs. ??Note, took one star off because the small size COLLAR is just a tad too big/ heavy for our littlest (10lb terrier mix), but the leash is great! The collar DOES fit for our 13lb poodle and not any weight concern of the size of the collar at all. Medium and larger sizes are true to advertised packaging for stated weight or neck sizes (Doberman, Lab and Shepherds each have one too). Again, the leashes work for all sizes just great!Easy to charge up. ONE charge cord is provided with EACH item purchased. We learned its best to keep track of using that ONE cord solely for the leashes and collars ONLY as to not strip the charging capabilities by using other ill-fitting cords that lessen them too soon.
