My cat was cautious but completely engaged with this toy as soon as i started it. This is definitely a great interactive toy that should keep any cat interested and engaged in stalking. I charged it which doesn't take very long. There are three different modes. The blue light one is fast and moves a lot more around the room. The purple is slower and doesn't cover as much ground as the blue mode. The green light is interactive mode. There are two different "tails" to screw onto the ball. It makes bird noises and blinks along the way. It will go into sleep mode after 5 minutes. My cat immediately figured out that he needed to pick it up and drop it to make it restart which he did 3 times after it went off the first time.The only problem that I ran into was that as the ball rolls it will pick up cat fur on the little "wheels" that make it roll. Since Ozzie is a Maine Coon, it picks up the long strands and I need to clean the fur out about once a day right now. It's not hard and I am glad of the design. The little parts that make it roll and collects cat fur is actually covered by a plastic strip so that it will not catch my cat's fur or tail.This is definitely very good entertainment for your cats. Ozzie highly recommends it.

I have bought my cat 4 interactive toys which he ignores but loves this toy! He chases the balls and looks so cute carrying them around in his mouth, he just loves it when I shoot a ball out to him He chases them and jumps up and loves his toy. I am so glad! This is worth the reasonable price.

My cat loves it. Took a while to figure out the best way to use it and recharge it. Several settings for how aggressive the movement is. The fuzzy tail gets beat up but has lasted several months.

My cat loves it but it dies very quickly. Also I ordered green and got red.

Hilarious play for a cat- if you need to do something else than play with him or her, turn this on. Lights, sounds, motion sensor, just keeps bouncing off things.

This thing is hysterical and it keeps my cats two Maine Coons thoroughly entertained. The only negative thing about it is the battery has to be charged too often. I think it works seven or eight minutes and then it has to be charged but other than that it is a great toy for cats. I highly recommend it but just know you have to charge it a lot.

it is a little faster moving then expected and my kittens don't like it. But it works just the way it should.

The dog seems to love this one for its speed. However, when she catches it, the toy is not rugged enough to keep her from tearing it apart. It's pretty easy to put the "tail" back on, but on two different units, the on/off switch has fallen off the board and killed the toy.

Mine is a dull red. The tail makes it easy to find even in a dimly lit room. The tails are screwed on and the twisting loosens them and they fall off. Now it is hard to find. The light goes off and it's under a chair or a table and it's lost for a while . They send 2 tails. But they both unscrewed. I picked one and glued it in. Now the cats like this. A little scared at first,but getting over that. They follow it around to see what it's doing . i find it amazing. It goes into a corner , backs it way out. hits a wall and spins around and goes in another direction . Gets under a chair and finds a way out. I'm having fun just watching it. Worth the money - just pick which tail to use.

I gave her the four because actually it scared my cat. It�s very fast and bounces off of the walls. If you are in an apartment It can be kind of loud. I love the idea of it and I do like the the way that attachment goes onto it. It screws on instead of having to push it in like some things cat toys It�s a very good idea. It�s just a little too fast for my cat anyway. But it is very sturdy because I think it would be impossible for a cat to actually tear it up.

This is a very busy toy. It is also quite hilarious for the human to watch, especially if you cannot find the on off switch right away. Low noise level, but it acts like a other-possessed maniac digging under anywhere it can roll into (including under recliners. My cat is still a little intimidated by it, but very curious. Do not let this be unattended because you have no idea where it will end up. One of the screw on attachment pieces kept unscrewing itself during its travels, but still works quite delightfully. It is a good value, and I am certain will be right on the money for kitties who are highly aggressive in chasing movement such as those who like to chase real birds outside, since it chirps, rolls, rocks, hides. The size is good excepting how it rolls under the recliner. Timid cats like mine may stay away. I do keep testing it out with her a little bit at a time.

My cat-Jake is four months old and he absolutely loves this toy! Yesterday was the first time him playing with it and he played with it for maybe 35 minutes and then he got so tired that he laid beside me on the couch and fell asleep. It�s definitely a great toy! Only thing I had to say about it is that when I first got it delivered yesterday I put one of the pills on it that it comes with and my cat was able to take it off of the ball part and same thing with the other tail so they don�t really stay alone if your cat is super active, but other than a tail it�s a great toy. I�ll still give it five didn�t that

This is my kittens favorite toy. The ball skitters all around the floor giving her good exercise and keeping her guessing. It's not noisy at all and the charge lasts for quite some time. The only problem is sometimes it gets lost behind or under a piece of furniture and my fur baby is unhappy until mama can find it for her again.

Great entertainment for my kittens and me! Keeps them entertained and their attention for a good work out and tires them out! I enjoy watching them go back and fourth chasing after it. Highly recommend. This thing really hauls it across the floor and through the house when fully charged.
