Very well made so feedable, and it spins, which makes it harder for them!

I love this slow feeder bowl! This gives my Shiba and you the opportunity to play while hes eating his food but for me it ensures that he doesnt get a stomach ache later when he eats way too fast like he always does! Its semi-difficult if you have pets that like puzzles, they will love this one once you figure it out. It seems like he was able to use it a little bit faster but what does help is that it spins so they kinda have to chase the food so I really do think this is an excellent slow feeder. Its way better than the mats. I think its made of extremely good quality. Ive even ran it through the dishwasher and it is just fine. For the price, this is an extremely good value!

The concept of this slow feeder is good and its actually pretty simple once you figure out how it works. My wiener dogs are pretty smart, and my 2-year-old dachshund figured it out really quickly. Between the two of them, they managed to get every treat out of the puzzle in probably 35 seconds, so if you have highly intelligent dogs, this may not keep them entertained for very long. That said, I do think it would be more effective for dogs that are slower problem-solvers or if you use it with regular food instead of just treats. In that case, I could definitely see it taking them more time and giving them a little mental stimulation while they eat.

got this for my dog to slow down mealtime and keep him entertained, and it actually works really well. The different textures and puzzle sections make feeding more engaging, especially with wet food and treats. I also like the lick mat feature because it helps calm him down and keeps him busy for a while. The size is great and it feels sturdy and easy to clean. The purple color is cute too. Definitely a good option for dogs that eat too fast or need a little extra enrichment during the day.

Pug approved!

Our pug eats like someone is about to steal her food, so we needed something to slow her down a bit. Weve tried other slow feeders before, but with her short snout it was hard for her to actually reach the food. This one worked much better for her.The pieces come apart, which makes cleaning easier, and I like that you can use both wet and dry food. Wet food definitely turns this more into a lick mat situation, while dry food works best if the kibble fits the grooves properly. My biggest complaint is the non-slip bottom. It still slid around while she was eating, and food ended up everywhere. She was also using her paws trying to flip parts of the bowl, which honestly was funny to watch but also shows determined dogs can move it around pretty easily.I think this size works best for smaller dogs. For larger dogs, Id probably want a bigger version with more space.

Good quality

Got this for my sisters puppy its easy to use and he loves it. Its easy to clean because the parts snap off. Its a decent size not too small or too big. The stability is nice and its heavy duty. The material is a nice hard plastic.

Comes apart for cleaning!!!

The LiteRushx 3-in-1 Slow Feeder Interactive Puzzle bowl is a really cool interactive feeder with lots of lickable surfaces and nooks and crannies. The bowl itself is an approximately 8" wide circle. The internal part that holds food is closer to 7", with a large 2" button in the middle. My absolute favorite feature of this bowl is the fact that it can be taken completely apart. The button in the middle is removable, allowing both the top and bottom layers to be easily cleaned. I wish it were dishwasher safe, but this really is the next best thing. Far too many food-related dog products can't be properly cleaned.Because it comes completely apart, you can introduce it to your dog with just the bottom layer initially. Once they're ready for more challenge, add the top layer. The top layer is divided into 4 sections with different textures. Two of those sections can be flipped over, revealing 2 more sections with lickable surface area. This gives so many combinations and an ability to choose an approach that isn't overwhelming yet is fun and challenging for each dog.I have a chihuahua and regularly encounter products like this that are too big for her. This bowl works well for her and I think would be fine for most small and medium dogs. I don't know how it would do for large breeds.Overall I am really happy with this interactive feeder bowl. It seems to be high quality and is a good value, on par with similar products. It really shines in that it can be completely disassembled for cleaning and isn't too big for toy breeds.

Fun feeding bowl

We picked up this slow dog feeder for our golden retriever to is it necessarily a fast eater but he likes to be entertained when he eats. He gets bored with regular dishes so when we saw this we thought we'd spring for it and give it a shot. He does enjoy the interactiveness of this puzzle feeder. When he finishes eating he will just move the pieces with his nose and he has a blast doing it. I think it's pretty well built, and I really like the complexity of the design. We've had some puzzle feeders in the past and they seem a little easy compared to this one so I really like that this one has a little bit more to it. The only reason why I gave this a four out of five stars is because it does run on the smaller side. It still works for a golden retriever but if you have a larger dog, it probably could be a problem. They don't really mention the size of dog specified for this product so I thought maybe the bowl would be a little bit bigger than it was. Overall it's a good deal for the price and we are very thrilled with how much it keeps him entertained. I would absolutely recommend this item I just wish it were a little bigger.

Good slow feeder for smaller dogs

Its a fun one and works well for my dog. Its a bit smaller than I originally thought. It likely wouldnt work for more than 1 cup of food, and thats pushing it. The dog I use it for is 16lbs so it works pretty well for that amount. Since the bottom tier it totally covered by the top tier and they have to flip it to get access to the bottom, I have to remember that when I am filling it and make sure if you are putting supplements or anything else in the bottom that you do it all before putting food on the top tiers that flip. My dog also does not always wait to eat what is on the top tier before flipping it, causing food to go everywhere. I would also say that it does not really have a non-slip bottom, so it moves easily on hard floors. My dog is fairly aggressive with it and it has ended up with several scratches, so I dont know how well it will last long term, but its still good after a few months of twice daily use so thats good. If you look at the pictures you can see the damage from claws/teeth which is cosmetic so far.

Great feeder

I think this is a great feeder. I love that it's a slow feeder, a lick mat, and an enrichment toy in one. I got a new puppy and he seems to enjoy getting his meals/snacks through this feeder. And I love that it takes several minutes for my puppy to go through the entire food. The time it takes varies, depending on what I put on it, but it's taken anywhere from 10min to 15min+. It frees up time for me to take care of things away from the puppy while he's distracted. I'm now looking for different foods and recipes to use with this!

Great for a bowl or puzzle toy

I got this thinking it would be a bigger bowl for my Chesapeake ay Retriever, but its a little too small for him. However, it does make for a great puzzle bowl! I put some peanut butter and treats in it while I trimmed his nails and it made for a perfect distraction! It also (surprisingly) kept him busier for longer than his other puzzle toys. He actually gave up and walked away, which is a first for my fluffy little glutton! Our smaller dog enjoyed it as well. She is hard on puzzle bowls, and I expected her to chew it up, but she was surprisingly unable to pull it apart. Definitely a good quality bowl, and well worth the cost.

Mentally Stimulating Mealtime That Stands Up to Puppy Energy

This 3-in-1 slow feeder is a fantastic interactive puzzle that does a wonderful job of stimulating brain activity for my restless 8-month-old black lab. It keeps him highly engaged by forcing him to solve a little mental challenge to get his food, which burns off his excess energy while feeding him at the same time. The food-grade material feels incredibly high-quality with rounded edges, and the 8.2-inch diameter holds up to 2 cups of food effortlessly. I am deeply impressed by the clever non-slip design, as the rubber base holds tight against the kitchen floor even during the constant pushing and wrestling of my puppy's enthusiasm. It has effectively slowed down his eating speed to support better digestion, and cleaning it is a total breeze because the smooth surface rinses clean in seconds. This puzzle toy has successfully reduced boredom in our house, making it a durable and reliable addition to our daily routine.

Works but a lilttle flimsy

It works but a little flimsy on the joints. It does works to slow down and works as enrichment for my labs. He can open the parts easily since he is a smart (and greedy always hungry) boy.

My dog is about 15 pounds in the video. He easily takes the bowl and if he tossed it all the food would come flying out and possibly break. It holds very little dry kibble, I did not try peanut butter since I could not leave him alone with it.It is lightweight. At 8 oz the bowl is pretty light, maybe too light for the little plastic feet to prevent it from slipping.I expected him to grow out of it but I was hoping it would take a little longer. I am sure it is fun for teacup sizes.

Great for extending meal time

This is a pretty good slow feeder/puzzle toy. With a high-energy dog, Im always looking for new options to make mealtime more interesting and keep her busy longer.I can spread her wet food across the different levels, and it keeps her engaged for quite a while, especially if I only leave part of the bottom layer exposed. I also like that it can be flipped in two different configurations, which adds a bit of variety depending on how challenging I want it to be.I do wish it was slightly deeper, particularly on the lower level, but it hasnt been a major issue in practice. It also comes apart easily for cleaning and rinses off well, which makes maintenance simple. The main thing to be aware of is that it does require supervision, at least for a dog like mine, because the plastic is on the thinner side and can get damaged if they start chewing on it. Mine is still functional, but it has definitely seen better days after some rough use.

Nicely constructed but too easy for my pup

A well?built feeder should feel sturdy enough to handle daily use, and this one absolutely does. The construction is solid, the materials feel durable, and nothing about it seems flimsy or cheaply made. Its the kind of feeder you expect to last.Where it falls short is in the challenge level. For an average dog, it would probably be perfect. But for a clever, puzzle?loving pup, its a little too easy. A smart dog can figure out the mechanism quickly, which means the feeder doesnt slow them down for long. However, it does slow them done!

Enrichment feeder with slow-feed and lick-mat use

Combining a slow feeder, puzzle-style enrichment toy, and lick mat in one flippable design is useful. The listed 8.2 x 8.2 inch size and 2-cup capacity make it better suited to small and medium dogs or controlled portions for larger dogs. I like that it works for wet or dry food because lick mats are especially useful for spreading soft foods and slowing down eager eaters. It is still a plastic feeding item, so cleaning the grooves thoroughly will matter.

Simple puzzle feeder that keeps dogs engaged without frustration

Holds a full meal, slows my dog down, and gives her something to do. The puzzle sections arent overly complicated, so she doesnt get frustrated, but theyre enough to keep her engaged instead of inhaling her food. The lick?mat area works well for wet food or treats and keeps her busy after shes finished the main portion. It stays in place on the floor, cleans easily, and doesnt feel flimsy. For a simple enrichment feeder that combines a slow bowl, a puzzle, and a lick mat in one piece, it does the job without any fuss. It's also easy to take apart and clean.

Meh

Its ok. My chihuahua has trouble opening the flaps because it just spins and spins, like there is no traction or resistance whatsoever. So I had to stop it spinning with my foot so she can explore under the flaps. She is also too smart for this toy, I think. Its really not very challenging to her brain at all.Does it slow down feeding? Yes. Thats a plus if your dog has that problem.Im afraid Im going to have to return it.

Good dog brainteaser

Works as advertised. My puppy learned how it works quickly and stayed interested. The upper level is a little loose l and makes some noise when spun. But for the price it works well.
